The Team

We are a small team of professionals working in data protection law with the idea to offer aspiring young lawyers the unique opportunity to participate in a moot court competition focused on European data protection law. Our engagement in the DPMC is pro bono and unrelated to our professional activities for our employers.

Directors

Marco Blocher works as a data protection lawyer at noyb, a Vienna-based not-for-profit association focused on strategic GDPR enforcement. 

Paul Reisinger is a law and business informatics student at the University of Vienna. By taking part in the first Data Protection Moot Court he found his passion for privacy law.

Marie-Catherine Wagner is a research associate at the department of innovation and digitalisation in law at the University of Vienna, especially interested in IT/IP and Data Protection Law as well as International Business. She is currently writing her doctoral thesis about Children's Privacy in the Digital World.

Klaudia Kwiatkowska is a research associate at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law. During her studies, she developed an interest in privacy and data protection laws.

Mariana A. Rissetto is a research associate at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law at the University of Vienna, especially interested in IT and Data Protection Law as well as international institutional law.

Administration

Léa Caner is an LLM student at the University of Edinburgh. Her studies focus on international investment law and data protection law.
